Avima Lombard Award

The Avima D. Lombard Award honors a HIPPY staff person at a local, state, or national program office in the United States whose professional services have made a significant contribution to HIPPY and to improving the lives of young children and their families.

Prior to 2010, the award was presented to a non-staff person selected by the HIPPY USA Board of Directors. Beginning in 2010, the Avima D. Lombard Award will be presented to a HIPPY staff member nominated by HIPPY staff across the nation. An Award Committee will review the nominations and select the awardee. The Award Committee will be composed of eight persons: a HIPPY USA board member, two HIPPY USA staff members, two National Trainers, two Program Coordinators, and a HIPPY State Director. The Award will be presented at the HIPPY USA National Conference.

The deadline for submissions is February 15, 2010.
