Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters (HIPPY) USA is currently seeking to fill the following positions:
Data Management Specialist
This position supports the ongoing development and implementation of HIPPY USA’s Efforts to Outcomes (ETO) data management system. This position will analyze data, generate reports, train HIPPY field staff, and encourage a culture of performance management throughout the organization.
Responsibilities:
· Optimize the organization’s use of ETO
· Manage user and security settings, administration, and configuration of database to ensure the integrity and security of data according to best practices
· Create and manage systems to ensure all database policies and procedures are followed throughout the organization
· Create and executive complex database queries and reports for organizational stakeholders at national, state, and local levels
· Provide ETO training and assistance for all users
Minimum Qualifications:
· Three years of experience in management information systems or service delivery in nonprofit sector
· Extraordinary attention to detail
· Excellent computer proficiency, including a knowledge of Microsoft Office applications with an emphasis on Excel, knowledge of ETO software preferred
· Strong interest in data and evaluation
· Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
· Ability to maintain accurate records
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Excellent organizational and analytical skills, including ability to multi-task in fast-pace environment
· Experience in developing and/or facilitating group trainings a plus
Minimum Education:
Bachelors degree in Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems or equivalent experience required.

Assist the National Program Director in various aspects of the programmatic work of HIPPY USA to include:
§ The coordination and preparation for all training and technical assistance efforts, including pre-service training and the trainer’s professional development meeting
§ Provide technical assistance and support to potential new HIPPY programs
§ Maintain database to track new and existing programs
§ Prepare and monitor site visit schedule; maintain site visit tracker
§ Maintain oral and written contact with National Trainers
§ Prepare, process and track national trainer agreements
§ Process reimbursements submitted by the National Trainers
§ Receive, review, process, summarize and track Program Reports
§ Organize and file all materials and information that relate to programmatic work
§ Work with other HIPPY USA units, project teams, state offices and outside partners, as needed
§ Other related tasks as assigned
Qualifications
§ 2-4 years experience working with other educational programs or human service organizations
§ Excellent oral and written communication skills
§ Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
§ Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, etc.
§ Ability to handle multiple projects and to meet deadlines
§ Ability and willingness to work both with teams and independently
§ Bilingual or conversational in Spanish a plus
